The Academic Faculty

The Academic Faculty – Aquinas College - is owned and managed by the Congregation of the Mission of Saint Vincent De Paul. All the Diocesan Seminarians of Vianney Bhavan do a three year long graduation course in Philosophy. Along with this programme, they also get a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in Philosophy from the University of Berhampur. Some of the Staff of Vianney Bhavan, too, form part of the Faculty. At present there are nine resident professors in the Faculty of whom sixare from Aquinas College, Fr. Mathew Nayak, C.M. (Rector), Fr. Pratap Chandra Misal, C.M. (Dean), Fr. Jose Nazhiampara, C.M., Fr. Thomas Kandathil, C.M., Fr. John Mulackal, C.M., Fr. Jisayo Nayak, C.M., Fr. Francis Kanampuzha, C.M., Fr. Francis Puthenthayil, C.M. and Fr. Thomas Parayil.
